2014 proved to be an impressive year for Jennifer Lopez. Her 10th studio album “A.K.A.” was released and it featured the rump shaker, “booty” whose accompanying video directed by Hype Williams featuring Iggy Azalea left tongues wagging.  But her crowning achievement came in the form of her first book, “True Love.”

While we highlight and celebrate the audiobook edition of “True Love” we’d be remiss not to mention that the hardcover edition of the book was published simultaneously in English and Spanish with a portion of the proceeds from the book going towards the Lopez Family Foundation, dedicated to improving the health and welfare of women and children.

In “True Love,” Lopez explores one of the most critical periods of her life: the transformational journey that lasted two years, where she tells how, as a mother and artist, she faced her biggest challenges, addressed her greatest fears and ultimately ended up being a stronger person than ever before.

Lopez has said: “The writing of ‘True love’ has been a deeply cathartic, personal and vulnerable experience. If it were not for the love and support of my children, this story would never have been possible. As I struggled with the decision whether or not to launch this book, I realized that if I could just touch one person, then in all honesty, this would be one of the most rewarding tasks of my life. ”
